What Should Be The Dosage Of Vaccination For Dog Bite For 2 Year Old Child?

Hi ! My son got bitten by a puppy i think it s only 2 months old and yet don t have a anti rabies . at first my son have some hotdog in his hand and the puppy grab it in an instant and suddenly have a scratch in his middle finger . my mom tried to wash and pinch the both side of the red area it but there s no blood coming out. after 8 hours my mom notice that there is a small wound in the finger where it suspect my son got bitten .. now for assurance my son had already this morning a vaccine ( 2 shots per session) and my son still have 3 more sessions .. is it okay if he just only have only 1 session because i heard that the medicine that was using was too strong for my son s age. He s only 2 years old. Thank you.

Thanks for the query.
If the dog which bites , remain normal for 10or more days then you can avoid the next sessions.
But if the dog died, or can not be obsered (wild dog ) , you have to complete the sessions.
Dose of the vaccine depends upon age of the child so nothing to worry about high dose.
Hope i help you.
