My 13 year old yellow lab has a skin infection which we are currently treating with Butler Schein Phytovet CK antiseptic shampoo every other day, but now she has an area around her eye that is infected and this shampoo specifically states not to get into her eyes or mucus membranes. She only has one eye (the infection is in the area around the eye that has been sewn shut due to a previous injury when she was only 3 months old). What is safe to use on her eye area for this condition?
