What Should I Do For Racing Heart Beat, Shortness Of Breath?

Hi~ I m having a racing heart beat, shortness of breath. I went to the E.R. today. They did an cardic workup on me, they said things look good. They want me to see a Cardilogist next week. Lying in bed racing heart, ect. blood pressure 182/104, heart rate 101. What should I do? Very frustrated, don t feel right.

Dear sir

As per your query you have
1. Increased heart rate and increased blood pressure.

It is very much essenstial to start a cardioselective betablocker like metaprolol, nebivolol, cardevelol once a day as it will control both blood pressure and heart rate.

Secondly before starting betablockers look for any respiratory disorders like bronchial asthma and COPD.

Check your heart rate and blood pressure at proper intervals atleast 3 times a day.
