Doctor,
I'm Indu of age 22. I was suffering with neck pain from past 1& 1\2 yr and was unable to do system work and unable to write speedly.Done with MRI & CT scan. Doctors said that there is a bulge in disk. So my neck pain is radiating to right hand. Used medicines for almost 1yr and physciotherapy for 1month. But there is no improvement. Whatelse can i do to reduce my neck pain completely?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case and your report.
Due to compression of nerve root there can be tingling numbness in your arm and pain.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Neck exercises and activity modification will help.Avoid triggering factor.

If nerve compression becomes symptomatically severe then surgical decompression will give permanent relief.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
