What Symptoms Are Expected After Having A Colonoscopy?
i am 61, have spina bifida since birth, and am to have a colonoscopy. i am totally worried about how the bowel cleansing may not work so well. and is there pain involved. and could they do this cleanse in the hospital so i dont have to deal with it at home? I also have a colostomy since 2004

It is a simple office procedure and complications are rare. Bowel preparation does not cause any problem and it will be better to do it from home.
