Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Endometrium tuberculosis is a very common cause of infertility. If I am your treating Doctor I would like to give you a test to confirm for the tuberculosis, that is i would suggest to do endometrial curretage, and curreteage material is to be tested for tuberculosis. l would suggest you to go for GeneXpert test. this test is rapid and give you a result after 2 hours only. If this test finds that you have tuberculosis than I wont advice you to conceive and complete the further treatment. If negative than you can conceive. thanx
