What Tests Can Help Understand The Cause For Chronic Headache, CT Scan Was Normal?
My daughter is 14. She has had a headache for 30+ days, she is on topomax. She has been to the ER twice in 3 weeks with little to no pain relief. The headache goes from a 4-10 on the pain scale. She had a CT scan and it was normal. Neurologist appointment is Wed. HELP, think a MRI would show anything?

I reviewed your history. Since the CT scan is normal I do not think there is a need for MRI. You need to consult your neurologist to rule out and treat common primary headaches like migraine, tension headache.
