Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

This is sub clinical hypothyroidism. In this condition your thyroid hormones are normal but TSH ( Thyroid stimulating hormone) is slightly high.

The treatment depends on other factors. If I were your treating physician I would have checked for thyroid swelling, checked your cholesterol and anti thyroid antibodies. If any of the blood tests are abnormal I will start you on thyroxine replacement.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

Regards,
