What To Do For Clogged, Amplified Sensation In Ear?
Hi- I was slapped in the ear last week and now have a clogged, amplified sensation. I can hear but low frequency sounds are irritating. I went to an ENT and he did not see anything. However, there is clearly something wrong with my ear and hearing.
Is this possibly just the result of swelling? Will the clogged and amplified sensation subside over time? I am not sure what to do… It feels like a pressure issue… and will not go away. It has been 8 days now.
hello, slap injury 8days back with a hearing problem suggests injury to tympanic membrane or middle ear contents. it can be ruled out by hearing tests. in my opinion u need to go for hearing tests( pta/impedence) to rule out d cause of hearing problem.
