What To Do For Hissing In Head?

i have noticed a hissing in my head . I used to suffer from severe dizziness which became worse when i lay down or turned over in bed. It was accompanied with a buzzing noise too. Everything has gone now except the hissing - its not in my ears its more in my brain. I have a very poor memory since then as well. Thanks

Hi..Thanks for contacting us.You have dizziness which gets worsened out on positional variation. You are also experiencing hissing sound.First in the diagnosis is benign positional paroxysmal vertigo which is a benign condition causing giddiness. The second in the list is meniere"s disease which is due to excess amount of fluid in the inner ear.you need to meet an ENT surgeon and he might give you vestibular sedatives ,adv on vestibular rehabilitation and surgery also if warranted.Till then be little slow in changing posture, avoid alcohol and avoid claiming up hills.Take care.
