What To Do For Low Vitamin D Level Causing Numbness?

my sister underwent valve replacement surgery two month back she is taking acitrom 2mg and 3 mg alternative days after operation she complain numness in her lower right leg and some nerve make some bulge experiance we tested for vitamin d deficiency as per doctor advice it shows very very low what to do now

The treatment may include oral vitamin D2 at 50,000 IU per week for eight weeks. After vitamin D levels normalize, I suggest a dosage of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) at 800 to 1,000 IU per day from supplemental sources.
