I had a stroke in the Thalamus nearly 4 years ago I am numb on the right side of my body and have pins and needles in my rt hand and foot. it is there all the time. I have difficulty sleeping at night. i have a hot bath before going to bed an have been taking 1 paracetamol and 1 co codamol at night. Is there anything else i can do? My gp wrote me up for 1 ametriptyline at night increasing to 2 after 1 week I took 1 but it made me feel very doopy and I haven t taken any moor.
