What To Do For Pain In Left Groin Area When Moving Leg After Fell Down?
My grandmother fell down(left side leg) on a railway platform a week ago while visiting me and baby. She could climb the stairs and come home.X rays revealed no fracture.
During her return journey after climbing up and down the stairs at the home town railway station she experienced intense pain while moving her leg. It took two hours to make her sit in the car and then shift to a bed at home. She has been in sitting position since 24hrs.She reclined and went to sleep.Even now she is still seated and experiences unbearable pain in the left groin area when she tries to move her leg. She has been administered Dynapore injection. She has had no stool passage since ten days.
I would like to get an repeat x ray of hip joint. There is a slight chance that she may have a minimum fracture initially which become complete after walking. Fracture of hip some time allow patient to walk. Till she get an x ray, i would advice you to tell her to do rest, analgesics.
