Dr sir namstay i m 42 yrs old , i had a lump in my left testicle,from last 1 month i have pain around my testicle i got ultrasound , and doctor is saying it is infection in testis so he gave me antibiotic but after the course of antibiotic 1-2 days again pain is there around left testis so now he has prescribed tablet hetrazan 100 mg , iwant to know that any side efftect of this tablet like size decrease of testis etc. mukesh

As you have already been seen by a Doctor and ultrasonography is done, I would advise you to request your Doctor to order for blood and urine tests. including culture and sensitivity. This will help to best antibiotic suitable for your testis problem.
You have to continue antibiotics for at least 3 weeks and supportive Medicines. You may request for a re-view ultrasonography to see the progress.
