What To Do For The Severe Pain In The Back Due To Fall?

today i slipped down the stairs at home and hit my lower back on the edge of the second step down. I was in so much pain,my husband came straight home from work and took me to MIU down the road. I could hardly bear the pain of sitting in the car. When the nurse checked my spine by feeling it, it was extremely painful and they were unable to give me an X ray as they don't provide them at this hospital. The pain is still so painful and i have a numb feeling in my lower back. I was told that if i wanted an X ray that i would have to go to a different hospital which is about a 30 minute drive away and i don't think i could handle to pain of sitting in the car for that long!!

Hello,

I had gone through the case and found that you must immediate go for MRI of spine and take further treatment.

Meanwhile take mild painkiller and muscle relaxant gel.

Avoid forward bending and lift heavy weight.

Hope my answer will be effective for you.

Thanks
