What To Do For The Soreness In The Throat And Stomach?
i went out last night and drank too much. i threw up blood most of the night and it feels as though my throat is inflamed. I can eat, drink water and breathe okay but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to make my throat and stomach feel a little better
The burning sensation may be related to esophagitis (inflammation of esophagus) and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach).
Alcohol can be associated with these complications.
The use of medications normally used in GERD may help. This would include medications such as prevacid, protonix, aciphex, nexium, prilosec. You may be able to obtain one of these over the counter.
In addition you should avoid spicy/fatty/fried/acidic foods.
I hope this helps
