What To Do For The Sudden Back Pain Due To Lifting Gas Cylinder?
Sudden back pain while lifting a gas cylinder. I lifted a gas cylinder and kept it at my cars trunk. Initially I did not feel any pain but something slightly hitting my back. As soon as I stand up after sometime the pain becomes unbearable Om the right side of my middle back. Since than I m not able to walk properly or sleep properly kindly help
Hi, As mentioned you have low back pain with radiculopathy following lifting heavy weight .This could be due to bony ( lecithesis , etc) or soft tissue (PIVD , etc) pathology . So visit Orthopaedic surgery centre preferably spine centre where according to clinical examination investigation done including X RAY LSspine AP n LATERAL VIEW IN EMPTY STOMACH , MRI SPINE SCRENNING ,.etc and accordingly treated (conservatively through traction for2-3 weeks or surgically through decompression with laminectomy) which depends upon neurological examination status n investigations . Till then take analgesic , proton pump initiator , muscle relaxant ,vitamins (folate ,b12, etc) avoid bending forwart , warm compreesion and ambulance on log rolling techniques .
