What To Do If Developed IBS, Chronic Loose Motions After Gall Bladder Was Removed Previously?

I had gall bladder removed about 13 years ago. Ihad had problems for about 20 years and was going to China and didn't want an attack. I had difficulties soon after and was told it was odii. spasm and i would have to live withit. I have dev a mild diabetes ( was told by diabetic Dr I'd Never have diabested--my choleserol was so low just a few years before surg. Also dev. IBS and chronic loose stools. I have had an very large increase in pain lately. and blouting. Suggestions?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
IBS is common gut disorder. In my opinions it can treated with Antispasmodic medicines. If you have constipation laxatives are advised for short periods. Loperamide is the the most commonly used antidirrhoeal medicine for IBS. Anti-depressant is only advised if you have persistent symptoms, or frequent bad flare-ups. Add more fibre in your diet.
