What To Do If Had Stiffness In Neck, Knot In Scapular Area After Taking A Flu Shot In The Arm?
I HAD A FLU SHOT ON THURS IN MY LEFT ARM. THE INJECTION & THE SITE HURT IMMEDIATELY. THE NEXT MORNING I WOKE UP W/A STIFF NECK. PAIN LEVEL WAS MANAGEALBE. WHEN I WOKE UP SAT. MORNINGTHE PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING. I COULD NOT MOVE MY HEAD EITHER WAY AT ALL. MY LEFT ARM FELT NUMB AND TINGLY AND PAIN RADIATED STRAIGHT DOWN MY LEFT SHOULD BLADE. IT IS NOW 5 DAYS LATER AND THOUGH THE HORRIFIC PAIN HAS SUBSIDED I STILL HAVE A STIFF NECK AND A KNOT IN MY SCAPULAR AREA THAT GO HAND IN HAND WHEN I MOVE. LEFT ARM CAME BACK TO LIFE. DO YOU THINK I HAD A REACTION TO THE FLU SHOT OR MAYBE THE WAY THE SHOT WAS ADMINISTERED. I DIDN T DO ANYTHING AT ALL TO PHYSICALLY TO HAVE SUCH A WEIRD THING HAPPEN.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you have the usual action, but exagerated, hence you had the pain and swelling of the whole area, and the nerve involvement. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment and to prevent the further complications of the inflammation. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have a good recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
