i extend my warm regards and utmost support to your ailing mother in this time. she is indeed suffering a lot and together we shall take good care of her. considering that she currently has
typhoid,
diabetes, heart ailments and
kidney stones, lets begin with GOOD foods for her:
1. high protein diet- egg whites, boiled chicken, fish, soyabean, whey protein (as whey water, cottage cheese or supplements), pulses (without husk)
2. low fibre- dehusked cereals and pulses, properly boiled, mashed and strained foods
3. low
glycemic index and complex sugars- jaggery and honey. no sugar at all is best.
4. dry fruits and nuts
BAD foods:
1. high fibre salads and fruits (strained and clear fruit and vegetable juices are fine)
2. roasted/ fried meats
3. bakery products
4. aerated and sweet drinks
it would be ideal if:
1. she eats every 1-1.5 hours
2. every mealsize is 100-150 gm in weight or upto 200mL in case of liquids
3. liquids in a toto of 5-6 litres a day
4. 20 mins light cardio exercise like walking/strolling, stretching, PT like static exercises
5. add natural healers to food like turmeric in milk, add some cumin seeds and indian basil to drinking water, soaked fenugreek seeds taken empty stomach along with its water in morning, cinnamon powder in tea/milk. these are natural healers and setright body
metabolism and functions.
