Findings from a recent transabdominal and trans ago also ultrasound were uterus as anteverted and measures 9x4x5.5 cm CIRCUMSCRIBED ANECHOIC CYST WITH THROUGH transmission is seen intranurally measuring 1x.6x.7 cm. Rt ovary is 2.9x2.3x2.4. CIRCUMSCRIBED benign follical simple meas 1.8x1.4x1.5. Left ovary is 2.0x1.5x1.4 with small follicle. Mass of the vessels is seen in the left axilla. No sig free fluid. Could you let me know if any of this requires intervention please? Thank you!
The ultrasound of the pelvic region is within normal limits. Presence of mass of vessels in axilla suggest a blood vessel tumor like hemangioma. A hemangioma is benign tumor arising from blood vessels.
It usually does not require treatment if it is asymptomatic. You may consult a surgeon for clinical assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
