What Treatment Is Required Post Urine Analysis?
my urine examination shows epithelial cells 2-4/hpf and WBCs 1-2/hpf cast nil crystal nil ova and paracites nil mucus threads ++ and others nil. Chemical examination examination shows all factors eithet nil or absent. my age is 84 years and I am a female. what treatment I should take. soliciting your advice- Ranjnj

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
UTI is indicated by presence of WBC,mucus threads in urine.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
