What Treatment Is Suggested For Cluster Of Cyst And Pain In Breast?
I am having difficulty with my left breast. I am 49 yrs old. I have had pain in the left breast since my mid twenties. I have been assured that it is not cancer, and have had a breast u-sound and mamo-g. I have a cluster of cysts with a large seperate one measuring 1.4cm. I have burning,aching,sometimes throbing pain in the left breast. The left breast is slightly enlarged. There are no cysts in the right breast. I have not had any biopsies. The cysts are getting larger and have never reduced in size. I would like them removed because of the pain and I am convinced that they might become cancerous at any time. Without a microscopic examination of the cysts/contents/fluid NO Doctor on this planet can assure me 100% that the area is not cancerous. I am in Toronto, Canada

you are having a disease called fibrocystic disease of breast. it has got a slightly higher risk of breast cancer than normal. if they involve a localized area, it can be removed surgically, if the medical treatment have failed.
