What Treatment Is Suggested For Irregular Periods?

hi i am Deepa,
I am very irregular with my periods i usually have 35 to 40 days cycle. bt since last month we r trying to conceive, and i did a home pregnancy test 3 weeks after my ovulation and it's negative. and it has been more than 45 days to my last period and i am late. so no pregnancy no period... i am comfuse.

In the current scenario, you should get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres and also a trans-vaginal sonogram to confirm/exclude pregnancy. If pregnancy has been excluded, you may need to induce a period through hormones and you need to get further investigations to know the ovulation status and also the hormonal status and any treatment, if needed, is given to regulate ovulation.
