last year my periods came on 20th december 2015.on 27th december i had an unprotected sex with my fiancee and ate i-pill on 28th.On 4th january 2016 it started bleeding which last upto 6th january.today is 19th january.my question is when am i going to have my periods? i am little worries about it
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. i pill is an emergency contraceptive pill. After its intake within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, it would cause breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks and prevents unwanted or accidental pregnancy. What has happened in your case is exactly the same. Your next periods should be expected by the same number of days (in a month time) as it was happening earlier, provided you do not use any other hormonal birth control measures. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
