Hello Doctor. I have missed my periods for past 2 months. Pharmacist suggested Meprate 10mg. I took the dosage but even after a week i didnt get my periods. What should I do to get my periods immediately? and also im suffering from stomach bloating for past 2 weeks will missing periods lead to boating?
Bloating can occur with delayed periods in some persons. It can also be linked to other causes such as certain foods or reflux. Foods such as cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, turnips, beans, peas- can cause bloating
In terms of the delayed periods, you need to find out the reason for the delay.
The most common reasons for delayed periods are as follows(1) emotional stress or illness (2) abnormal levels of thyroid hormones (3)side effect of medications (4)abnormal levels of prolactin hormone (5)physical illness (6)polycystic ovarian syndrome
You would need blood tests and imaging to determine the cause then it can be specifically treated
I hope this helps
