Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

There are different causes of delayed periods. Some of the more common causes are-
(1) perimenopause- this is the time before menopause when the periods start to become irregular or lighter etc
(2)emotional stress or illness
(3)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(4)physical illness
(5)abnormal levels of prolactin
(6)side effect of medication
(7)PCOS- polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Hope I have answered your question.
