When Does Vaginal Bleeding Stop After Taking Tranexamic?

I still bleeding after taking tranexamic acid for 5 days what may be the cause? I didnt noticed any blood clot during my periods and also while i am taking tranexamic acid... I stopoed taking it yesterday night but bleeding continues and today i saw many clots passing out .... What should i do now? How much time should i wait to stop bleeding or consult dr. Now?

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist. You may need high dose of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of heavy bleeding. Hope it helps.
