When Performing A CABG, Whether You Use The Saphenous Vein

When performing a CABG, whether you use the saphenous vein or the mammary artery do these vessels get reattached during the CABG procedure and if so how do you reattach the ends together? How much of the vein or artery is taken away?? I realize it depends on where the block is in comparison to the length but generally speaking how much of the vessel is used?
