When Should Lisinopril Intake Be Discontinued?

i am diabetic with high blood pressure, had implantation of stent in the heart lately, doctor prescribed number of medicines, vig, hydralzine, carvedilol, lisinopril, amlodipine, simvastin, brilinta, and insulin . following some blood works, today my doctor called and advised to discontinue lisinopril due to increased potassium level in kidneys . please advise.
