Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and I understand your concern. First you have to calculate the expected date of your next period. It is 20th of this month. If you sexually active and taking any oral contraceptive pill then you should continue the drug without any gap. If you are not taking any pill, you should take GYNASET twice daily.

Start it 3 days before (from 17th) the date of expected period. Continue it for the days you want to delay your period (maximum 2 week). Then stop the medicine and wait for 7 days. Withdrawal bleeding will occur within this time period. Kindly procure complete prescription from local doctor if possible. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.

Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up required.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
