I am B-ve and my husband is O+ve. Have heard that there will be lot of complications during pregnancy so in order to avoid the complications, will have to take an injection. Please advise by which month of pregnancy period the vaccination should be done.

hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.YOur condition(husband +ve & wife -ve blood group) is called Rh incompatibility. As there is very less chance of getting harm to the baby in first pregnancy. There are more harmfull effect occurs in second or subsequent pregnancies.so In first pregnancy it is mandatory to take Injection(IM) Anti-RH Immunoglobulin(antibodies) at about 28th week of gestation with or without a booster dose at 34 wek.It can be taken within 72 hrs of first delivery to avoid complication in next pregnancy.good luck.
