When Will Ovulation Take Place After Taking Fertyl?

Hi Doctor,
i needs a reference about when will be the occuring of ovulation after taking tablet FERTYL 50mg,because my dr. had suggested it when i informed her about my period has happen yesterday after taking METFORMIN. she suggested metformin for 30 days 1 each along with folic acid ,3 more metformin tablets to go . today was my second day of period so i started taking fertyl 50 mg today itself accordinly. kindly give a suggestion

Hello,

Fertyl contains clomiphene citrate, ovulation induction drug and to be taken from D2 to D6.

Ovulation occurs approx 14 days prior to next day and your fertile days will be from 12th to 18th day of each 28-30 days cycle. You can track your ovulation by using ovulation prediction kit ( LH kit) or undergo serial follicular study after consultation with your doctor.

Unprotected sex close to ovulation day will maximize the chance of successful conception. Good luck.
