Hi,

Lithium is a mood stabilizer medication that is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder which involves episodes of mania and depression. It has side effects. Lithium may cause increased pressure in the brain and develop vertigo, nausea, vomiting, headache, eye pain, blurred vision, dizziness etc. These side effects gradually go away over time after stop taking this medication. It may take few days to weeks to subside these side effects as Lithium has long half life. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor first for medical help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
