Which disease does Zifi 100 ml dry syrup cure in kids My child s(1 n half years old) doctor recommended to give ZIFI 100 ml DRY SYRUP at composition of 4 ml morning & 4 ml Evening. would this medicine help him from Fever or Cold or cough ? not sure! Please reply

Hi, Zifi is an antibiotic. It is used in respiratory tract infections. In children the infections are mainly viral and antibiotics do not have a major role. Its imperative to take the antibiotic for the prescribed duration. Hope that answers the question.

hi,thanks for query.This syrup contains a drug called cefixime,which is a antibiotic used in variety of respiratory infection and other infections.Fever is because of infection so when cause is treated fever will automatically subsides.In initial days you need give fever medications along with this ,till this drug becomes effective.Give him more of fluids and light diet to eat.
