I have CLNDAYMYCIN 300 MG in my medicin cabinet I do not remember what it is for .

Clindamycin is an antibiotic, which is used to treat a number of infections, specially, anaerobic infections (of skin, respiratory tract, tooth infection etc). It may also be used as an alternative to penicillin (in those who are allergic to penicillin). Sometimes it may be used for the treatment for malaria also. Hospital aquired infections of MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus), may be managed with Clindamycin.
