Which Folic Acid Tablet Should A Thyroid Patient Take In Pregnancy ?

I have thyroid 5.90 I have been told to take thyroxine25 half tablet a day,I got my periods last weekend after coursr of diane35,I want to get pregnant ,me&my husband have started planning,I want your advice whether thyroxine tablet is correct and should I start taking folic acid,if so then what tablet to take for folic acid,I m very worried,help me

you should continue taking thyroxine tab.Check your thyroid status.
when you are euthyroid,then & then you should try for pregnancy.
you can use tab. folvite for folic acid.

being a thyriod patient u may find difficulty in concieving.need not worry consult endocrinologist and gynaecologist for regular follow up.and continue vth ur thyroxine medication.no need to take folic acid supplements unless and untill required.if its needed doctor will precribe as it require ur blood test reports to prescribe any supplememnts.
