OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Day 14 is the best day but depending on cycle length patient experience ovulation on days between 11-18 days. The doctor keeps asking for scan till she gets a perfect eg: and than another scan to see if the egg gets ruptured. No fasting state is not required for follicular study scan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
