While Suffering From Idiopathic Epilepsy, What Could An Abnormal Facial Vein Indicate?
On the top right of my forehead I have a vein going diagonally from corner to eye. The vein seems to indent in my head. As this gets worse my face seems to be becoming more asymmetrical. Can someone please please help? I am 19, healthy weight and an idiopathic generalized epilepsy sufferer.

While Suffering From Idiopathic Epilepsy, What Could An Abnormal Facial Vein Indicate?
Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to a vascular malformation or a carotido-cavernous fistula. That is why I would recommend performing a brain angio CT scan or brain MRI with gadolinium enhancement. You should consult with a neurologist and discuss on the above tests. Hope you will find this answer helpful! Wishing all the best, Dr. Aida
