White Bump In Throat Not Sore, Do You Know What It Might Be ?
Earlier today i felt something in my throat. When i looked in the mirror i noticed a white bump in the back of my throat. My throat is not sore at all and it doesnt hurt when i swallow . I thought that it might be food stuck in my throat. I tried to pick it off but only a little came off but it's still there. Do you know what it might be?
you are having a tonsil stone.gargle with water after each meal.it will prevent stone formation to a certain extent.get your tonsils removed if they are giving you problems, otherwise dont bother.
That is probably a tonsil stone... google it.. I get these at the back of my throat and basically its food that does get stuck in the little cracks and crevices of your throat. If you keep poking at it, it will come out as a whitish ball type of thingy... they are foul smelling also, just so you know... (ewww) But that sounds like what it is.
hi,nothing much to worry about.its just food material or slough formed at the tonsillar crypts(crevices).just gargle ur mouth with warm salt water or mouthwash after having ur meal.maintaining oral hygiene is important.then usea course of antibiotics.
