White Discharge In 8 Week Pregnancy, burning Sensation While Urinating
Hi, I am 8 weeks pregnant . For the past 2 weeks occassionally, i notice white discharge . Also in last week, for 4 days i had a burning sensation when urinating. This is not everytime i urinate. Sometimes the burning sensation will be after urinating. in that case it would last for 3-4 mins and go off. is this normal at this stage? Please clarify. Thanks.
Hi, If your discharge is foul smelling or is associated with any itching then you need to show it to a gynecologist for treatment otherwise it is normal. Just ignore it. Normal vaginal secretions increase in pregnancy & are of concern only, if you have any other symptoms. About your urine, please drink a lot of water as pregnant women are prone to urinary tract infection. They need extra water to wash it off. Please get your urine tested to rule out infection ( urine DR). If it shows infection you need treatment for it, if it comes out negative you should consult a gynecologist to rule out any local cause of your problem. I hope I explained the course of action required. Take care.
