White Spots On Tongue And Cheeks. History Of Tonsillitis Treated With Erythromycin. Any Treatment?
Dear Doctor, I am suffering with tonsillitis since march 2010. I am always prescribed with erythromicin, it treats the symptoms but they reoccur after the course is completed. The tonsils are covered with white spots that they also appear on my tongue and cheeks. What do I need to do. I am physically exhausted and emotionally scared, why do I keep on getting it?? Please help me.
Hello, White spots on tongue and cheeks can be due to ulcers or lesions developed from oral habits like tobacco or pan chewing. Get a thorough clinical evaluation. Swish with lukewarm saline frequently. Apply topical diclofenac gel on the affected site. Avoid intake of spicy, salty foods. Take care.
