Whole Body Itching After Taking Akurit-4 Along With Vitamin B6 For Tuberculosis Lymph Node
I am 23 years old. I am taking Akurit-4 because of tuberculosis lymph nodes. It is 3 tablet daily and I am taking it together with vitamin B6. After consuming Akurit-4, my whole body is so itchy so I always scratch until it leave scars. Why it is like that and what should I do? Thank you.
You are likely allergic to one or both of these medications either the akurit-4 or the vitamin b6. Allergic reactions present with the itching that you are describing.
It is possible, that as you continue to use the medication, the reaction will worsen. If the reaction is due to only one of these and it can be stopped for a few days then this would show you which one is causing the reaction eg if you stopped the vitamin b6 (if your doctor allows this) and after 3 to 4 days the itching stops, you know that this is the cause.
If it continues then it is the other medication and you may need an alternative if possible.
I hope this helps
