Why Am I Having No Menses From Past 8 Months?

I am 44.5 years old. No period x 8 months. Left groin pain x 2 weeks, thought due to muscle pull from running. Last 24 + hours left lower pelvic pain, at times severe & radiating to back & upper front thigh. Ovarian cyst? Called GYN today who did not want to see me in office, said go to ER if worse, may order ultrasound if not better 1-2 days. Also started spotting yesterday. Hx endometrial ablation 3 yrs ago but have still always had periods (light instead of super heavy as prior) until now
