Why Am I Having Pain Under My Right Shoulder Blade?
Hi Doc I have been consistently unwell for the past 6 months, with terrible lethargy, tiredness (I suppose similar to chronic fatigue symptoms), unrelenting pain in both legs and now - past 3 days - experiencing significant pain under my right shoulder blade. It is intermittent but is becoming more painful. I know my symptoms are a bit vague but I am seeing a doctor locally - due to return on Fri this week. The back pain is starting to worry me. Do you have any ideas on what it could be? Falling apart !

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, TOtal lethargy with pain in both legs suggest -Severe anemia ( mal nutrition, lac of absorption, genaralized defeciensy ( vitamines, calcium),chronic illness. This needs to be investigated/treated by a physician. The pain under your right scapula -may come from thorasic spondilitis, Calcium/Vitamin D & calcium shortage, lung infection, allergy ( eosinophillia) This too calls for proper investigation s & cosultation by a physician. Thanks
