Why Am I Spotting After An Abortion And Then A Normal Periods?

I had a medical abortion done, the process went as suspected but now it's been a month and I got my first post period it was normal for about 6 days and after the bleeding stopped and began to be spotty and I've been spotty and lightly bleeding I'm going on my 8th day spotting after my normal period, is this normal?

Hi

Irregular periods commonly occurs following medical abortion.Your cycles may be shorter than your normal cycles.Spotting or light bleeding can also occur.

A period of 4 to 8 weeks is usually required for regular periods to return.The bleeding can stop and start again.Light bleeding may continue for few weeks.Hence you can wait for few more weeks and watch for the bleeding pattern to normalise.
