Why Am I Unable To Walk And Having Joint Pain Over Entire Body While On Medication For Diabetic Neuropathy And Lymphedema?

I have severe diabetic neuropathy and deep foot pain. I also have really bad lymphedema. Over the last year ive been treated with oxycodone IR and ER. Three months ago they switched my ER to oxymorphone and it seems to be much more effective. I started seeing a new pain specialty facility yesterday december 31st. The nurse and doctor that saw me decided that even though I explained that my oxycodoneIR has been being lowered and my oxymorphone ER has been raised to 80mg morning and 80 at night with oxycodone 30mg IR they asked a few questions and said they wanted to put me on suboxone and do block injections. I also have torn rotor cuff on both sides and three months ago started developing joint pain over entire body. I can barely walk and have been on disability for almost 12 months. The doctors told me for four months that I should be sitting with my legs elevated at all times unless eating or going to the bathroom. During that time I lost muscle strength and everything got worse. I have been told to now excercise and diet and I want to start that really badly but the new doctor totally stopped my all pain medications and didnt do anything else. My goal is to only take the pain meds for as short of period as possible until I can get my strength back and lose weight. Im at a loss and dont know what to do I realize that pain meds can cause problems but from all my research Im on a safe dose and oxymorphone is supposed to be a more effective long term med than oxycontin. With entire body joint pain total body lymphedema and neuropathy with diabetes that is up and as far as being is shots a safe thing to do and is the current treatment of pain meds that works unsafe? The other specialist told me that any injections should not be done no matter what while the diabetes and lymphedema which is pitted is very bad are under better control.

Severe and uncontrolled diabetes is often associated with complications like nerve pains and joint pains . These are aggravated by the degenerative changes in the joints.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
