Why Am I Having Vaginal Bleeding At The Age Of 72?

I m 72 - years-old and have just started very slight vaginal bleeding. I probably should mention that I am still taking hormones. I have had fibroids for years, but they have now virtually disappeared. I need to have rectum and bladder tacked up as they are a bit prolapsed into the vagina. What could the bleeding be?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The vaginal bleeding at your age can be due to a uterine pathology or malignancy. This needs to be ruled out after a few tests under the guidance of your gynecologist.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
