Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello, I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.I can understand your confusion.Basically Thyroid gland produces thyroid hormone. The need of hormone varies in quantity from time to time.but there is beautiful natural sensing by gland that it produces more when need is more and produces less when need is less.In your case the gland has been removed so we have to supplement from outside. So you may have to adjust the dose 6 months to one year depending on level of hormone. You may have to increase or decrease by 25 micrograms depending on report. At present you should increase the dose to 200 mcg. Monitor levels every 3 to 6 months and adjust the dose. My best wishes Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
