Why Could I Walk Better After Quitting Nexium?

I took Nexium for years, thinking it was helping control (GERD) . My Doctors wouldn't listen to any questions I had concerning the problems that developed, such as fluid gain, instead they added more meds. I slowly lost the ability to walk without a cane. Then could walk only short distances, the pain in my back and legs were like nothing I've ever felt. After a 20# weight gain (115 to 139# )of fluid along with the expense I quit taking Nexium and within two months time I lost 25#. Noticed the pain was getting better, then in three months kept weight off was walking unaided. Is there a reasonable answer as to why this could happen?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the medicine that you are taking for GERD has nothing to do with your problems, your problem is directly related with your thoughts that you are having which are functional in origin and does not indicate any disease, you have to keep your stress level very low, if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following drug,
1) Tab Chlorodiazepoxide one tab three times in day
Hope this information helps you have nice day.
